Here's a note from Richard Galloway:
"Thank you for featuring our small bit of work we do to help the local children have a great Christmas. It's thanks to the Northwest Trail Riders Association (NWTRA) and Tum-A-Lum, the local lumber yard, that we are able to make this happen. Several members of the NWTRA help in the making of the toys and we distribute them via the local schools, churches and other charities."
Richard and team make various designs, such as doll cradles, block trucks, block wagons, bulldozers, and of course, cars.
Richard's personal experience in woodworking adds great value to the NWTRA. After completing a boat build with his dad at the age of 6, his skills continued to develop with the help of a dedicated shop teacher in his Oregon high school. Learning from a world class furniture maker had its benefits, allowing Richard to feel confident tackling projects of all kinds! Although he and his wife participate in farmer's markets throughout the summers to showcase his talents, Richard was happy to partner with NWTRA after working with Toys for Tots from 2010-2014 to continue his charitable giving.
Please consider donating to Richard and the NWTRA!
