What makes Pegas® Blades Cut Straighter?

Pegas® scroll saw blades teeth are perfectly and equally set (right and left) which enables the blade to cut straight. If this setting is not properly mastered, the blade deviates. This is what happens with most of our competitors' saw blades. The user has to compensate for the deviation by holding the sawed item at a certain angle. This way of sawing is unnatural and the result cannot be compared to an item sawed with a Pegas® saw blade.

Pegas Scroll® Saw Blades are the Very Best for Durability & Sharpness

Take a look at the magnification image - you can actually see the difference in quality of the steel.
Steve Good compares Olsen Scroll Saw Blades, Bosch Blades, Flying Dutchman Scroll Saw Blades, and Skil with our Pegas brand scroll saw blades.  Pegas uses the highest carbon content of steel among any blade manufactures.  They are heat treated just enough to be strong, but not so much as to be brittle.  Want more info? Browse different types of blades and see reviews - there's lots of them!

The above video from master spiral scroller and pattern designer Charles Dearing shows a side by side comparison of the Pegas blades with the Flying Dutchman.
Charles had used FD Spirals for 21 years.  Watch the difference and see why Charles is switching to Pegas.  Shop here at Bear Woods for a growing selection of Charles amazing patterns.
