This convenient kit has the general basics of mold casting, providing 2 types of molds, gloves, mixing materials, and epoxy resin! We know that coloring your project is personal preference, so we've left that choice up to you! Head over to our Colorants page to check out the wide range of products we offer.
If you're on the hunt for a rotary tool to help sand rough edges, or drill into your letters for keychains, head over to our Rotary Tool section and take a peak!
Reusable materials have been provided to help give you the most out of your purchase. To clean your mixing cups and stir sticks, we recommend wiping clean with baby wipes and/or 91-99% isopropyl alcohol. Please use proper safety precautions when working with isopropyl alcohol.
Read the directions enclosed with your epoxy resin fully before beginning your project. Following the directions closely will help ensure that there aren't any hiccups along the way! Mixing slowly and thoroughly, scraping the sides and bottom, is crucial to minimizing bubbles for that glass look we all love.
Table Top is a Medium Viscosity resin, meaning that it is a little on the thicker side. If you would like to thin your resin, we suggest placing your Part A (resin) into your graduated mixing cup, then placing it in a warm bath, not hot, for approximately 5 minutes. Once that is done, pour your Part B (hardener) in and mix both slowly and thoroughly. This will help to thin the resin, as well as avoid bubbles during the curing process.
Avoid using a torch or a heat gun with a high temperature setting on your new silicone molds. Too much heat can cause the resin to fuse with the silicone, causing damage and even potentially ripping the mold itself upon demolding.
