Niqua ULTRA Reverse Scroll Saw Blade #5 (.015" x .037" x 15TPI) (Pk/12)
These Niqua fret saw blades are for the newest generation of wood types. They have a unique blade design and possess the following traits:
• Every 3rd tooth reversed to prevent splintering on underside
• Allow for a faster, smoother cut
• Widely spaced toothing

Great Quality makes a happy customer

I do a lot of scroll wood work. I can't comment on how long the Niqua Ultra blades last as I not had to change one yet. Definitely double the cutting on a single blade and still going. A small learning curve on using them as a new blade will tear out some if you push on the blade, bending the blade is not an issue coming out of a 180 tight turn so no curved cuts or sticky removal from patterns. If I had started on this blade as a novice then switched to one of the old brands I would think something was wrong with the blades.

I am a fairly new scroller but love these blades. I originally ordered a sample pack of many and these are my favorite. The cuts are so clean and precise. I don't see me changing in the foreseeable future.
